Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the world realized that there was a serious need of innovation in the healthcare sector. There are new challenges faced everyday by the innovators who show willingness in implementing the ideas as they are hurdles starting from the planning stage. Innovation is very important to make an organization succeed and sustain. Organizations are also having a tough time in balancing the rod between innovation and relevancy to the market as well as competition in the market. Innovation in the healthcare sector have shown positive growth in response to the pandemic recently. The frontline workers have been the most important part in this crisis and health care workers have saved so many lives putting their own lives at risk, many lost their lives serving humanity. Many believe that innovation is an expense, however, it should be seen as an investment. Innovation will give huge returns only if your direction is right. People should always be given support when it comes to being innovative, unfortunately it has been seen that many organizations do not motivate rather demotivate employees when they try to do something that is innovative in nature. A culture of innovation is very healthy for the organizations and ultimately the economy as a whole. Legacy of innovation revolves around the people who are passionate and who believe in making an impact.
