Eco-innovation strategy in manufacturing: A systematic review: 

This article analyzes the eco-innovation strategy related to manufacturing firms. In recent years, there has been a spike in concerns about change in climate, diminishing of natural resources and energy security that led to initiation of eco-innovation to promote environmentally friendly solutions. Manufacturing sector without a doubt has always been prone to the onus of the unpleasant environmental situations. The purpose of involving eco-innovation strategy in manufacturing sector is to secure the environment without jeopardizing the production. Eco-innovation provides a wide range of possibilities from awareness to solution. However, there are certain challenges that exist to completely implement such practices. To promote green growth, it is essential that industries much be restructured and breakthrough technologies to be applied. The manufacturing concerns once thought to be the source of pollution have become industrial networks that identifies gaps in knowledge and opportunities for progress for the betterment of environment.
