Measuring open innovation practices through topic modelling: Revisiting their impact on firm financial performance:
Open innovation has seen a lot of fame in the recent years
and many have conducted researches of the effect of open innovation. However,
it has been found that performance of the organisations and the impact of open innovations,
when studies together, have not provided with any clean and clear outcomes. Previously
it has been observed that the researches that have been conducted on this topic
were all conducted in a limited environment including both; primary and
secondary. This shows that the innovators have been carrying out researches
with an unsupervised method of learning. That have tried to link the
performance of the companies along with open innovation practices, which have
shown mixed results leading to a confused judgement. The results which are
achieved from the method of topic modelling showed that there were irregularities.
In recent years, open innovation may have achieved some fame in the academic world
but they have been giving mixed results. How to measure and observe open
innovation has been carried out through ineffective methods. There is not enough
research carried out to from a true and fair opinion.
